Thermometer

The device that is used for the measurement or indication of the temperature or the gradient of the temperature with the use of a variety of different principles is known as a thermometer. Structurally, it consists of a narrow, hermetically sealed glass tube that is marked with the graduations and have a bulb as well at one end that contain mercury or alcohol that extends along the tube as it expands. There are different types of thermometers that are available in the market. Different thermometers are used for different purposes. This is why they are designed in different ways. Whether it is about monitoring the temperature of the room, body temperature, outdoor temperature or whatsoever, different thermometers are used for different purposes, but the function of all these thermometers is same.
