Thermometer

The device that is used for the measurement or indication of the temperature or the gradient of the temperature with the use of a variety of different principles is known as a thermometer. Structurally, it consists of a narrow, hermetically sealed glass tube that is marked with the graduations and have a bulb as well at one end that contain mercury or alcohol that extends along the tube as it expands.
