Like every person in the world if you are anticipating parent then you would be over the moon with joy. Similarly an equal amount of caution is taken even during the labor and birth of the baby. A maternal monitor is a medical device that can help monitor the heart beat of your baby.

During your labor a maternal monitor can be strapped on to your abdomen to monitor both your contractions and the effects that they may have on your baby. Thoroughly monitoring of your baby’s heart beat insures that it is perfectly fine and that there is nothing wrong in the process. Having a maternal monitor attached is pain free and does not hurt.
